I believe we should open up cinema to a wider audience by screening films in exciting, new and engaging venues. I have helped to establish the Short Sounds Film Festival to celebrate music and sound in movies.
As a producer, I enjoy telling stories and entertaining audience. I have created a group of vertically integrated companies supporting original film development and production. White Lantern Film uses movie making passion to ‘produce provocative pictures’ that say something about our world. This is supported by TLS, a moving image agency engaging audiences through commercials, animation and content working with brands like LV, BT, Mizuno and Garmin. I have also established B-REEL, a creative networking group; GET INSIDE MOVIES, a funded BFI Film Academy; and an extensive talent development programme working with partners including Channel 4 and Bournemouth University.
I have produced a number of award-winning short films, most notable SILENT THINGS starring Georgia Groome (London to Brighton, Angus, thongs & perfect snogging), Antonia Campbell-Hughes (Bright Star) and Andrew Scott (BBC’s Sherlock, Pride, Spectre) which screened internationally winning several awards. Movie credits includeThe journey continued with the award-winning environmental documentary Drying For Freedom exploring clothesline bans in America and India, and K-SHOP a gripping ‘Sweeney Todd in a kebab shop’ elevated horror film.
